Prisma APK for Android is coming, the latest version is 2.0.0.88. You can edit ordinary photo into artistic photo simply using a smartphone. Just like Instagram, this application is used to edit photos from gallery or camera shots in a style which is inspired by the famous painting. You can choose one among dozens of artsy filters available, then export it to social media or other applications that you use. It should be noted, Prisma is not social media, so this application does not have timeline.

Photo that is produced is quite impressive. Unlike most applications, your smartphone will not work hard when converting photos into “the art”. The process will be done entirely on server owned by Prisma. If you are concerned about privacy issues, the developer claimed they will not store any of the user’s photo. In testing I did, the process takes a few seconds. Cannot be classified as an instant like Instagram, but the results are worth to be waited. There are 36 filters.

The developer claims will add one to two new filter each day within a month after its release. So you can expect more new filter in the next few days. One drawback I feel is the order of the filter is not permanent. When you select a filter, that filter will appear on the far left side, its position will be shifted when you select a new filter. Then, by default, Prisma will put a watermark that you can switch off from the settings. The application is quite simple but amazing.
